Restaurant Reviews

A selection of superb, intense tastes

Nuthurst Grange is not somewhere I could afford to visit on a regular basis and I think a lot of people are in the same position as myself. However, sampling these desserts just confirmed that, every so often, it really is nice to push the boat out – these were superb. We took our coffee in the lounge where we were also presented with petit fours. Once again a selection of superb, intense tastes that, shamefully, we were just too full to finish off – we tried but in the end we had to give up or burst. Big things are planned for Nuthurst Grange and, with Paul at the helm, I can't envisage anything but a successful future. With food already at this standard he certainly won't have to worry about his kitchen and restaurant as he concentrates on turning the place into his dream hotel.

The Food is Fantastic...

I have stayed here with friends over the past seven years.

Last time we stayed was in April and there has been a distinct improvement as a result of the work being carried out by the new owner. The food is fantastic as ever - never over faced but extremely enjoyable. Wine list is quite extensive and not too expensive. Well worth a visit to the restaurant!

Food was as good as ever

I heard that the hotel had changed hands recently so went along to see what it was like.

Refurbishment is taking place, but what they had done when I visited before Christmas was a definite improvement. Food was as good as ever. The Service was good, and although formal avoided being stuffy

I have eaten here both on business and for that special occasion such as a birthday or anniversary. The atmosphere, ambiance, sheer quality and presentation together with a wine selection to die for, absolute perfection.
