Room Reviews
The room was spacious with the both the bed and sofa being extremely comfortable. It was as if someone had found my wishlist for a hotel bedroom.
We had fresh fruit, fresh milk for tea and fresh coffee! There was a whirlpool bath that was relaxing and they provided bath salts and a body scrub to use. We also had bathrobes and slippers, which were a nice touch. There was also a hand shower and a big overhead shower that were easy to control and had good pressure.
This was a very pleasant night away from home without the kids and we will definately be going back.
The venue is quite stunning, a beautiful country house with well kept gardens and a fantastic view across the Warwickshire countryside.
The wedding ceremony itself went off without any hitches and the meal and the service was excellent. The piece de resistance for me was our room - a huge room with large bay windows looking out over the fields, a four poster bed and well appointed furniture and furnishings and even better in the morning - a airspa bath the bubbles in which got rid of my hangover!!
The hotel is quite expensive, but you get what you pay for and I would highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for a special, romantic evening with great food and stunning rooms.
The rooms were all lovely and decorated to a very high standard. Everything felt new and crisp - like we were the first people to stay there.
There were some nice touches as well, like lights around the edge of the mirror that came on when you waved your hand around. There were complementary Molton Brown toiletries and snacks. The food at the wedding was excellent. Even though we were leaving early the following day, the staff made us a special breakfast (an hour and a half before breakfast was due to start).
